Difference Between Coins and Points

PromptCom offers two in-site currencies: "Coins" and "Points," each with different pricing and revenue calculation mechanisms.

About Coins

Coins are an in-site currency sold by the platform at variable prices.

For example, 100 coins may be sold for ¥150, with pricing varying depending on the purchase plan or campaigns.

Creator revenue is calculated at a rate of 1 coin = ¥1.

Example: When 100 coins are used for support

  • Creator revenue: ¥100
  • Difference from the user's purchase price: Equivalent to the platform fee

Please note that coin-based support is planned to be phased out in the future, and the system will transition to a points-based model.

About Points

Points are an in-site currency calculated at 1 point = ¥1.

When users support creators using points, the support amount belongs to the creator in principle. The company collects a prescribed fee as a platform usage fee and payment processing fee.

As of 2026, the PromptCom platform fee is 20%.

Example: When 100 points are used for support

  • Support amount: ¥100
  • Platform fee: ¥20
  • Creator revenue: ¥80

How to Earn Revenue (Through Support)

On PromptCom, creators can earn revenue through support from users. Types of support include:

* The amount creators receive is calculated as the number of coins used for support multiplied by ¥1. The platform acts as an intermediary, managing support funds and processing withdrawals.

Through support, creators may provide users with services such as content viewing rights, message responses, and member benefits.

All prices displayed on the site are shown as total amounts including tax.
