She seems to understand it’s for her own good—she doesn’t resist, simply shuffling along the grass in silence. Of course, she can’t go very far. So I let her wander freely ahead, keeping just a short distance behind. When she realizes I’m no longer at her side, she turns around with a slightly panicked look, her eyes scanning the dark. That anxious little glance—so helpless, so dependent—is utterly endearing. When she’s tired, she flops over onto her back with a soft breath, her delicate belly and other exposed parts plainly visible. She never hides them, but seeing her laid out like that on the grass stirs an almost uncontrollable urge to reach out and touch. Whether it stops at just a touch, though… that depends on my mood. …Not enough exercise for me, you say? Don’t worry. Darumako is a tool that trains both of us, every time she’s put to use. And tonight’s session is far from over. 健康を維持させるために、毎日の運動は欠かせない。 今宵も、ダルマコを庭に出して散歩させてやっている。 自分のためだと理解しているのだろう。抵抗する様子もなく、黙々と草の上を進んでいる。 もちろん、その足では遠くまでは行けない。だから俺は少し後ろで見守りながら、好きなように動かせてやっている。
